PeptiVault is designed to keep your tracking records under your control.
Local app data
PeptiVault is designed to keep core tracking records under your control. Entries, reminders, calculations, notes, photos and progress context may be stored locally on your device. Meal and progress photos can contain sensitive information, so only add photos you are comfortable storing or submitting to optional features.
Apple Health read-only
If you grant permission, PeptiVault may read selected Apple Health data, such as weight or activity context, for display inside the app. Apple Health access is optional and read-only.
AI submissions
Optional AI and lookup features process only the text, images, barcode values or related context you choose to submit. AI outputs are informational drafts for review and are not medical advice.
Account & purchases
If account or sign-in features are enabled, PeptiVault may process the information needed to authenticate you. Subscriptions and purchases are handled through Apple, the App Store and RevenueCat, including entitlement and transaction metadata needed to unlock paid features.
Exports
PeptiVault may allow export and import of your records. Exported files can contain sensitive personal information. Store, share and delete exported files carefully.
More privacy details
Notifications
If you enable reminders, PeptiVault may schedule local notifications on your device. Notification settings are controlled by iOS and your app preferences.
Barcode lookup
Barcode lookup may query Open Food Facts or similar public product databases using the barcode value you provide. Public product data may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Data retention
Local data remains on your device until you delete it, reset it or remove the app, subject to your device backup settings. Backend, purchase, sign-in, support and AI processing records may be retained only as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and provide support.
User controls
You can manage app permissions through iOS settings, including notifications, photos and Apple Health access. You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Children and age statement
PeptiVault is not intended for children. Do not use PeptiVault if you are under the minimum age required to consent to digital services in your region.
